2015 in review.

2015 was not quite what I expected my first year of retirement to be.

But here we are at the beginning of 2016 sooooo a good time to start again.
I finished off many UFO's and started and finished several more.
I've taught myself to knit socks and have made six pairs.
I also started my first crochet blanket. I saw a beautiful pink, white and green granny square blanket on Mias Landliv's blog and fell in love.
I've spent a good deal of time searching for and reading blogs during the year. Sooooo I found the Attic24 blog. Looooove Lucy's crochet patterns. So I'm now half way through a light blue, dark blue and white ripple blanket. Queen sized of course! I don't do things by half when I get started.

Mmmmm I can't see what I'm typing anymore, so I'll have to finish this for now.

RETIREMENT!!

The big day has arrived!

Today is the first day of the BEST of my life!

I've FINALLY graduated from Primary School!

It is time for new adventures. I will miss the daily opportunity to TALK! Sooooo I can talk to the blogosphere ......clarify and share my thoughts and opinions on a vast array of topics....whatever enters my brain, in it's new relaxed state. (If anything does!!)

Hence....my first blog! (I cannot talk without exclamation marks AND I'm not shouting when I use capital letters!.......it's just a way of emphasising what I want to say!
